Covid-19 Policy Visit Englamd, Good to Go

Julie & Simon are delighted to be able to welcome new & returning guests for that long awaited break after what has been a very difficult & challenging time for everyone.

At The Olde Barn Julie has set out Covid-19 guidance to reassure guests that all measures are in place to keep you safe during your stay, please take a look.

A Covid-19 risk assessment has also been carried out according to the government & public health guidelines to minimise risk & keep you safe whilst still enjoying your stay, we have completed the "GOOD TO GO" mark are certified by Visit England.

It will be different for all of us but hopefully by taking these steps we can begin to enjoy life whilst helping to beat the virus. We look forward to meeting you all.

Pre-arrival

You can book your stay online @ www.theoldebarn.co.uk or by calling Julie on 01590 644939/07813 679757, we recommend that you read through our *Feel Safe @ The Olde Barn* procedures to understand the actions we have in place to keep all guests safe during their stay & minimise the risk spreading Covid-19.

Once you have placed your booking, you will receive confirmation which will include an attachment of our CV-19 guidelines which we recommend you read to ensure you understand the actions we have in place to keep you safe & minimise the risk of spreading CV-19.

If you are concerned about your stay, please contact Julie by phone or email who will be very happy to talk with you about these matters.

We will require credit/debit card details before arrival so that at the end of your stay all you will need to do is leave the key in your room door & we can automatically take payment on your day of departure.

We politely request that if you are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 prior to your stay or live in an area that becomes a localised lockdown area, that you call us to cancel/postpone your stay etc, these symptoms may include a high temperature and a new persistent cough.

Arrival & Check-in

We politely request that if you are showing symptoms of CV-19 that you do not enter the property & call Julie on 07813 679757 to discuss, you may be asked to leave the premises.

If you should need assistance during the night please contact Julie on 01590 644939 / 07813 679757.

The check in process will be limited to reduce contact, Julie meet & greet on arrival with all guests using appropriate PPE & social distancing will be maintained at all times, payment will be taken by debit or credit cards where possible to avoid the handling of cash & details to be taken in advance.

With a pre arranged arrival time, Julie will be alerted on your arrival or guests can text/call to confirm arrival, 07813 679757, Julie will then give you instructions to your room with a briefing of facilities/breakfast arrangements etc, social distancing will be maintained at all times. All room keys will be sanitised before handing to guests.

If any of our guests display Covid-19 symptoms they may be asked to leave the premises and or appropriate action to be taken.

Please note that we have a thermometer available should you feel concerned at any point during your stay.

Hand sanitising will be provided at entry to rooms & we ask that you use this regularly during your stay along side washing hands.

All surfaces, door handles keys & equipment will be regularly cleaned & sanitised with the appropriate up to date cleaning materials.

Unfortunately during this time it is not advisable for us to handle luggage or belongings, however if necessary we are happy to help but will ensure we do so with all safety measures in mind.

If you have any special requirements please let us know before arrival so we can make arrangements.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

We will provide hand sanitizer & disinfectant wipes in all bedrooms for you to use.(Please DO NOT flush wipes in toilet)

Every guest bedroom & en-suite will be fully cleaned & sanitised before each stay & secured until your arrival.

Fabric items such as mattresses, pillows, carpet, chairs and other furniture will be sprayed with a high quality approved sanitising solution which is highly effective against Covid-19 but harmless to you.

All surfaces will be cleaned & sanitised.

All bed linen & towels will be washed on a high heat.

All housekeeping staff will wear the appropriate PPE & sanitise prior to commencing work.

Room cleans will be carried out every 2 days depending on length of stay, limited tea/coffee making will be available in rooms.

All magazines, dvd's etc have been removed, please provide your own.

If you would prefer housekeeping not to attend during your stay please advise on arrival.

PLEASE WASH HANDS & SANITISE WHERE POSSIBLE during your stay.

Check-out

To check out, please make sure Julie has your card details to take payment if this has not already been taken & leave the key in the entrance door of your room.

REMEMBER to WASH HANDS and SANITISE before leaving.

Check out no later than 10.30am.

A bill can be left in your room or emailed to you at your request.

Food & Drink

A dining time for your breakfast will be agreed at check in.

A maximum of up to 4 guests could be at the breakfast table at any one time but times will be staggered & an appropriate screen will divide the table to maximise the 1m+ social distancing.

To help maintain social distancing guidelines all breakfast dining will be table service, a full English breakfast will be available but fruits & cereals will be limited still with table service only.

Please wash & sanitise hands before entering the dinning room.

The dining room will be cleaned & sanitised after use each day as will all the utensils, ALL used/unused crockery will be washed through the dishwasher.

Julie will sanitise & use appropriate PPE to carry out breakfast service.

Julie will always appropriately sanitise.

Covid-19 Guidance

Minimising the risk of covid-19 when we re-open our doors.

The welfare of our guests is always our first priority.

We have worked extremely hard so that when you are able to visit again, you can do this feeling assured that the best precautions have been taken to minimise the spread of CV-19 & keep everyone safe.

We have thought through our operations & have prepared & implemented our guidelines for both new and returning guests, so we can begin to welcome you back for that long awaited break.

We will only be operating up to 2 rooms, and with the luxury of your own separate private entrance and up to just 4 guests at The Olde Barn at any one time, limiting the risk of Covid-19, you can relax and feel safe.

If a guest is displaying signs of the Covid-19 virus while staying overnight they should inform Julie immediately, self isolate in their room to minimise any risk of transmission & return home.

If any guests or household members show symptoms of Covid-19 prior or during your stay you will be informed immediately & appropriate action taken.

For our guests we have looked at the process from arrival to departure to assess how to keep you as safe as possible, but whilst still allowing you to experience & enjoy your stay, of course all within government regulations. *please note that our processes & precautions will be under constant review & our guidance will be updated to give the latest information, always complying with government regulations.*
